CATLAB

|
The Hiden Catlab system resides in an inert nitrogen atmosphere Vac-atmospheres glovebox. This configuration makes it possible to screen air-sensitive, heterogeneous catalysts for activity in a variety of gas phase reactions. Typically, 50-200 mg of catalyst are loaded into the quartz micro-reactor. The gas product composition is analyzed using a Hiden quadrupole mass spectrometer (HPR20). Pulsed chemisorption experiments are possible using a heated vapor generator and automatic injection valves. Ultra fast response times are observed in the mass-spec as a result of a capillary system that begins directly after the catalyst bed. reserve time now |
