I am a lecturer with the Data Science Initiative at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I joined UCSB in 2017, having been awarded an NSF IGERT traineeship to study network science, and was subsequently a member of Francesco Bullo's group in the Center for Control, Dynamical Systems, and Computation until I finished my PhD in 2022. My research interests are broadly related to dynamics, control, identification, and state estimation in network systems, in particular power grids and other infrastructure networks.
Prior to UCSB, I recevied my BS in physics from Harvey Mudd College in 2017, where I worked with Chris Clark in the Lab for Autonomous and Intelligent Robotics on multi-agent controls for autonomous underwater vehicles. I also completed two internships in the Electricity Infrastructure and Buildings division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, working on modeling and backend development for the Grid Project Impact Quantification tool.
