Our Mission:
Develop and utilize experimental and numerical simulation techniques to understand the physics of transport phenomena at the micro and nano scales. Currently research projects include combining surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy with microfluidics to develop chemical sensors with extremely high sensitivity and specificity. In particular, we are working in the AIM Photonics Center to combine microfluidics, plasmonics, and photonics to develop fully integrated Raman spectrometers.
